The Zillertalbahn
5th August 2003

The Zillertalbahn is a 760 mm narrow gauge railway that runs the 31 km between Jenbach and Mayrhofen along the Ziller Valley in the Austrian Tirol. There is a regular hourly service using 3 coach Diesel units and Three Steam hauled Trains each way during the summer months and the Easter and Christmas holidays. My photographs show a selection of what we saw during the three days when we stayed at the Hotel Neue Post in Zell-am-Ziller in August 2003.
