Berchtesgaden and Salzburg
24th May 2006

Wednesday 24th May - We set off for a visit to Salzburg and on the way, stopped of for a lunch stop at Berchtesgaden in Germany. A very pleasant town with many fine restaurants and small shops, but the rain did not spoil the visit too much. We then headed off to Salzburg for a guided walk of the City followed by some free time to explore the streets. Later we had Dinner in St. Peters Monastery which was accompanied by some wonderful Mozart music.
